Erin began her career in emergency services almost 20 years ago as a volunteer firefighter in her hometown. At the same time, she also worked as an EMT for a local Level 1 Trauma Center and attended college full-time. After graduating from New Jersey City University with a bachelor’s degree in Fire Science, Erin was hired by the Middlesex County Hazmat Response Unit as a Hazmat Technician. This role helped her gain invaluable experience.

In 2018, she was hired by the City of New Brunswick Fire Department as a Firefighter/EMT. Her dedication and expertise led to a 2.5-year assignment as a Level 2 Instructor in the department’s Training Division, where she continued her professional development as a teacher and mentor. She returned to a line position and currently serves the City of New Brunswick as a member of the 1st Platoon.

In her free time, Erin volunteers with various local organizations and enjoys spending time with her family traveling.
