Strong leadership and visionary thinking have built Women in Fire into a Fire Service leader. Our team sets the strategic direction of the organization and supports our determination to create a brighter future for women in firefighting.

Like many other non-profit entities, Women in Fire is governed by a board of trustees. However, what sets us apart is the active involvement of our board in doing much of the work of the organization.

Our board meets throughout the year to coordinate activities, assess financial matters, strategize new initiatives, and develop the budget for the upcoming year.
