Yulonda Hayes comes from Minnesota and works with the Minneapolis Fire Department, where she has served since 2018. She also serves as a trustee on the executive board of the Minneapolis Firefighters Local 82 Labor Union. She holds an Associate of Science Degree in Management Information Systems from Saint Paul College of Saint Paul, MN, and is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Organizational Management and Leadership. Yulonda enjoys engaging with community members on fire safety topics.

She is a professional affiliate of the Minneapolis African American Firefighters Association, International Association of Black Firefighters, and the International Association of Fire Fighters.
