Kelly Gitzke

Huntley Fire Protection District - FF/PM/Lieutenant/Director of Mobile Integrated Health

Lieutenant Kelly Gitzke has dedicated 23 years to the Huntley Fire Protection District, where she currently serves as the Director of Mobile Integrated Health, a program she developed three years ago. In this role, she provides post-emergency follow-up care by meeting with residents in their homes to address medical needs, discuss health concerns, and connect them with essential resources. She also conducts in-home safety assessments to enhance community well-being.

In addition to her leadership in mobile healthcare, Kelly coordinates her department’s CPR Program, which trained over 1,200 individuals last year in life-saving techniques. Her passion for emergency medicine extends beyond the fire service, as she is also a Registered Nurse specializing in emergency care.

While deeply committed to her profession, Kelly’s greatest priority is her family. She and her husband of 22 years are proud parents to five teenagers, including two sets of twins, and their beloved dog, Maddie. She draws strength from her faith, family, and friends.
