Latosha Clemons - SOUTH EAST REGION

Latosha Clemons is a strong advocate for high-quality leadership and professionalism. She is a Fire Professional with more than 20 years of Fire Service Experience. Latosha was hired by the Boynton Beach Fire Rescue Department in 1996 as the first African American Woman in the department’s history; she took advantage of every opportunity for academic and professional growth afforded and rose through the ranks to become a Deputy Fire Chief.

Academic and professional development has always been a priority for Chief Clemons. Latosha completed an Associate of Science Degree in Emergency Medical Services in 2001, an Associate of Science Degree in Fire Science in 2005, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership in 2006, and a Master of Science Degree in Executive Management in 2014, she attended the Carl Holmes Development Institute at Dillard University. Latosha is also a proud graduate of the four-year National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officers Program in Emmitsburg Maryland.

Chief Clemon’s professional affiliations include the International Association of Black Professional Fire Fighters, the Standing President of Gold Coast Progressive Firefighters, a member of Women in Fire serving as the Southeast Trustee, a member of the International Association of Fire Chiefs, and a proud member of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women serving as the Chapter President. Latosha has a passion for community, which motivates her to continue growing in her personal and professional life. Latosha is currently, the Fire Chief for the City of Forest Park in Clayton County Georgia.
