After a career spanning nearly three decades in the fire service, Lisa Baker has retired as a Battalion Chief.

An alumna of the National Fire Academy Executive Fire Officers Program and the IAFC Executive Development Institute, Lisa holds a Master’s Degree in Leadership, a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Studies, an AA Degree in Fire Science, and is a certified Fire Chief. Her expertise extends to instructing at FDIC and various Women in Fire Conferences.

Beyond her professional achievements, Lisa is dedicated to mentoring aspiring firefighters and those seeking advancement within the fire service. Actively engaged in her community, she volunteers with the local school district.

In her leisure time, Lisa finds joy in family and friends, maintains a commitment to fitness, and indulges her passion for travel.
