Join Women in Fire, Howard County Fire & Rescue, and Holmatro Tools for an exciting, open, learning experience.
Saturday morning will include a brief classroom session about tools and basic auto extrication principals, vehicle ID, and more. After that, the class will move outside to the hands-on portion which will include stabilization and basic extrication of vehicles, securing and stabilizing, taking roofs, doors, and rolling the dash.
On Sunday morning, the hands-on practicing will continue. In the afternoon, crews will do complete scenarios from the air brake to the victim removal.
The class will run from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Participants must attend both days.
Lunches will be provided both days.
